Retirement Homes, St Ives

These retirement homes consist of a series of two and three story units which have been designed to surround a newly created courtyard with mature trees, providing direct views onto the River Ouse and the historic St Ives bridge.

The buildings are set at a level to avoid the frequent flooding of the site and surrounding countryside.

The external materials reflect the adjoining properties where handmade facing bricks and clay plain roof tiles are used.
